Be Strong

With pride I shake his hand,
I will lay my life down for this land;
I fight for him to be free,
for him I will lay in a red sea.

I know he is proud,
but soon I will be in another war cloud;
I see a tear from his eye,
then he begins to cry.

I hug him close,
I love him the most;
As the wind begins to blow,
we let each other go.

The sun becomes dim,
I begin to walk away from him;
I can tell he is bothered,
because he is my father.
