a poem about the people you can't rid yourself of fast enough

Judgment and Imperfections leave a bad taste in my mouth. Its funny how people try to be perceive cover yourself- so that they will think your kind think your forgiving and not like the rest, smile, laugh so they think your warm, sweet and in love with your life Individually put that glimmer in your eye so that when strangers walk by they can know you have that live, optimistic, spirited, live, flair of electricity shallow under your skin you jump, with that perfect and light spark calculated in your spare moments, begging to have everyone touch your skin just so you might share that jolt of life happiness that is contagious and that it causes every one to be immerced with envy what is so much sadder yet is not only that you really never feel that spark its that you betray your works the cheap paint you've used washes off you ache so hard to make your perfect image and then spit venom into your orbit, thinking that your facade covers and allows you to hide, even with your ugly words that you ignorantly take pride inflicting anyone of shallow intelligence sees your vapid tries rude and crass you think that you cover yourself with your laughing, unique pictures, your tales of love your image of self peace an artist, a lover and most of all an acceptor of all one who sands up for the small and deserving you yourself try to take on that role of the underdog no one wants you to win but your humble and pure enough to overcome all of the cruel world and save us. spitting out your cruel words ignorant of how you are blatantly showing your true, repulsive colors trying to pull yourself together and pull off your fake simple facade you try to be that protector of your "fellow" pure, lovely kind, delicate but only like that skin of a centennials hand thin, translucent, cold, and a reminder that we all have the possibility of being a ugly thing. so keep your mask, cover your attempts to take your life come short in saving those of your wanted followers refuse your health not having the strength to withhold your self-conscious purges. your starving, anemiated thoughts fool no-one do what you must to make yourself feel better It casts a dull shadow over you not the bright beams of love and honor that you hoped. not the pure acceptance and exhilaration for life that you try for not the utter boost of confidence that you try to force people to believe you have because you cannot invent loveliness confidence to simply be ok with yourself you lack any remnant of idea how you will even carry yourself through the tragedy of being you. worse yet with this show you start thinking that your making it, you look down on everyone else and think your better then the rest. to chastise and cast out and slice down, putting people down makes you feel better about yourself, pretending to be pure and something favorable wasn't enough to make you feel happy to be you. now you ridicule exactly what you hate about yourself 1/20/2012 |
