Moon is proud of itself to be the most beautiful creation of God until it sees my lover.
A beautiful view of the youthful night,

You are neither a flower, nor a star that's bright.

As if an angel from the heaven comes,

enlightening the world with its pure blue light.

Yes moon, you come on to sky with your mesmerizing face,

to show the world, your exceptional grace.

You come daily, though no one calls you.

To show that you are ahead in beauty's race.

But only you and me know what happened that night,

now tell me moon, do you still think you are right?

Like every usual night, you stepped on to sky,

You relaxed the earth which was hot and dry.

your sensuous grace really compelled me to stare,

but you were just spellbound to see a glow so rare.

You just looked at him, leaving everything apart,

and I could see the miserable pain in your heart.

Your sweating face revealed to me,

He was more pleasing than the God's greatest art.

You hid behind the clouds and looked quietly,

his face was shining very brightly.

you were so jealous of that incomparable elegance,

that at once you closed your eyes tightly.

I was the one constantly watching your fear,

my heart was happy and my eyes dropped a tear.

not because I had any grudges against you,

but because the one you found beautiful was really very dear.

Unknown to all this, he was embraced in my arms,

I looked at the moon again, and found no charm.

the moon smiled and left the sky,

as if it suddenly heard the morning alarm.

For the world, that was a moonless night,

But for me, it was amazingly bright.

the love of my life was beside me,

spreading into my life, his Love's light.
