Working in IIT and a special feel

I am working in IIT for last 11 months...I entered there in an office/lab where I was the only employee...my boss was a lady...she seldom visited the lab...so the lab was mine...if I talk about the lab it would not be over in hundred paragraphs...I am leaving that topic for later...the thing that I want to focus here is that I have learned a lot in that lonely room..I have learned AS3, working in FLASH...and also have created some really good web components which are praised later...no, I don’t want to talk about my work too...I worked in that lab for 6 months and then left it to join another lab unofficially...now, this time the scenario is different...in the new lab I am not the only person who works there...there are around 20 people sit and work individually in individual pc's...and the most important thing to mention is that now the boss does not visit the lab seldom.. in fact that person sits and works with us...so, the thing is in his presence no one can talk, can turn the neck to see what other are doing, can talk over phone, can laugh and can go out and in freely...he is a guy who always seems to be studying or doing something in his desk.. Well, he is Prof. X...the guy because of whom I could able to get the job...and able to work in a place like IIT...me and my colleagues/friends often discuss and find it really curious how this man keeps himself so busy in his works...if the sources are to be believed he sleeps every night at 10.30 and wakes up at 5 ...he enters the lab at 8 and leaves it at 7...he often visits foreign countries alone...never takes his wife with him...he is having some 10 projects under him...he takes classes of b.tech and m.tech..some are doing PhD under him...god knows how he manages all these...initially we (me and my friends) used to laugh at the thing that there might be a fair possibility that his wife is not satisfied with a busy guy like him...OMG he looks like a 60 yrs. old person though he is only at his early 40's...and then our discussions and gossips moved to another profs in the institution...and we found that most of these people have similar kind of life styles...they have few hours to spend with their families...they keep themselves busy by doing their responsibilities as profs ...keep on trying to find ample opportunities in such a big organisation like IIT...in fact they could able to find and create a corporate like life where they are making crores of money...they also never hesitate in giving people like us the opportunity to learn and show the right path where we can really learn something...now, where, I have spent a considerable amount of time here...have come to realize one thing...people like me exist.. we want to get some qualification...then a good job and a get settled soon and make a family and thus find prosperity in our lives....but. people like this prof exist who live their life with a passion to learn new things...explore the world of their domain everyday...they find it enjoyable and already make it their life...some may laugh at their idea of boring living...but there exist people like them that’s why our country is developing...


I, now really respect their idea of living..


:)..Please...don’t get confused with "respect" and "inspired by"...


i only do respect them...this things do not inspire me...and I am still the same girl who wants to get some qualification...then a good job and a get settled soon and make a family and thus find prosperity in my life..
