Dreams

A fabricated nonsense,
A myscheivious tale to grant irrational hope,
To give a coward courage in the midst of danger.

We all like to dream,
What is a dream to you?

Is it a horror that has your blood run cold,
And your breath catch in your lungs?

Is it a fantasy where dragons fly free to the tallest of mountains,
And leprechauns cackling gleefully over the glow of gold?

Or is it what you want to be?
You want to become the person that will make them proud,
Make them happy.

I have that dream,
They won't be satisfied with who I am.

Dreams are but a fabricated nonsense,
Created only by the dreams they wish you to have.
