A small tribute to my lolo

Listening to songs on the radio or the watching the story of a movie. Within all the good and bad that we see, hear, feel, and believe I smile even in the hardest of times... Because life is beautiful. I attended my grandfathers funeral the past week and I listened to the words spoken to him. How to leave life of great sorrow for all the beautiful world he will leave behind despite its vulgarness and shadows. It's differences and it's hardships because without it we would not hold dear love and friendship, or understand what it means to be alive with possibilities.

Possibilities that extend to a bright future or be turned into the depth of our individual vices. I believe my grandfather died thinking back to everything go od and bad in his life and cried out of sadness and the joys he felt. Too be honest I wouldn't know how to feel about his death. I do not cry nor feel sad nor do I understand the life he has been through for I was only but a part of his life. I will miss him that I know and a weird silence to where he use to walk and speak will forever be in my life.

Why is it we are so afraid of death? Is it because we believe it is the end. Of consciousness? So afraid to not know that you yourself exist? I use to be... But then why should I live life scared in the corner when there are so many beautiful things out there to see, feel, or touch. Why should I listen to how things should be or let someone else dictate what I do? I want to understand what he had felt and when I die grasping to ever bit off life because it would be worth seeing all m y loved ones for every second I have left.

Movies I know they're not real or how things are in m y reality. But who can say that they cant be? Does open new doors or feelings in your heart or widen your thoughts to what maybe or may not be out there? True most people would hope that most horror films should stay as horror films but every possible event we go through is what makes us who we are.

I would love to be as witty as jack sparrow
But as righteous as a shaolin monk
I would love to always get the girl like James bond
But find true love like those sappy chick flicks *cough* the notebook
To be as funny as Adam sandler in al l the movies he's done
But still be as cool as batman or any superhero out there

I would love to experience life as my grandfather had and I will sorely miss him. I will try not to regret but be kind as he was and my family will forever feel sad for this loss. Love you grandpa and I hope the next place is even better then here.
