Fade to White

Won't you help remind me.....that I'm someone?
I'm no good... to anyone here and I don't even know my own face now.
But I lived .....and I breathed in a world of green , green promise.
And my hands....reached for dreams that lay in clear and shallow waters,

So many dreams were in clear, cool, shallow waters.

But that was long,...long before I lived to see all my dreams fade,
and flow downstream,.... and away from what I thought really mattered.
Yes, everything I thought that mattered just flowed away and out of my life.
And oh, What a life....without air...you can't dream when you cannot breathe.
No, You can't dream when you cannot breathe.

And I thought , "Is this the very end of me, could it be?"

I don't want to stop...... and be still.... and just fade,
with unborn dreams dying inside me.
And you saw .....and you felt all my pain and you knew,
that I needed someone to guide me...just to guide me.

Come guide me, come guide me.

And suddenly your hand had my back,
and every sweet nerve in me was on the attack.
But there were no enemies,  just a kind , "pretty please",
and ,"You can do it for me baby. I'm so proud of you baby."
And I feel just like a newborn baby........dreaming again.
Dreaming sweet dreams again.

Dawn breaks across your face, intuition speeds your hands,
to places I want to live in........and all I want to do is give in.
It's just us here in this space, there's no demands,
just the hands always at my back....but now different,
good and different.....
And I watch my world fade to white.

Relationships matter to God. He created us for relationships.
God cares about every aspect of our lives. He is ever-present
and caring. God knows we need love, and fleshly love too.

Gen 2:24-Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother,
and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 


Gen 2:25-And they were both naked, the man and his wife,
and were not ashamed.
