A song for my daughter
My sweet JeweliAnn, I love you
With all my heart and more I do

When you were born, I heard those precious cries
Then tears of joy rolled down from my eyes
A new life, my baby girl is here
I held you close, so tight and near

No blue bonnets come close to compare
I swear on my life, every breath of air
My sweet JeweliAnn, I love you
With all my heart and more I do

I watched you crawl, I watched you stand
The first day of school, I held your hand
I taught you to ride, and I taught you to swim
If you were scared at night, I’d keep the light dim

No yellow rose can even compare
I swear on my life, every breath of air
My sweet JeweliAnn, I love you
With all my heart and more I do

Now that you’re older, with your mother and I apart
You still love us both, with all of your heart
So mature and so innocent, at times it is rough
To you all that matters, is that our love is enough

Baby girl I miss you, more than the stars and the moon
And just know this; I will see you very soon
I miss you too daddy, more than clouds and sunshine
And please don’t worry, I’m doing just fine

My sweet JeweliAnn, I miss you
With all my heart and more, it’s true
