My heart is held outside my body
It looks back at me and mocks
"In pain are you?" It asks in spite
When it knows very well it's right

"Let me help" it sneers
"I'm cold and black and into you I'll go
Penetrate your soul and very essence
Rot your very being and fill your life with woe"

"All light has left you
You are not who you used to be
Why bother anymore
You will become me"

"Join yourself with me
Give in to your fear
No matter where you hide
I will always be near"

My heart holds me prisoner
Chained and locked up tight
Bound for all eternity
Destined to always fight
