What can I say about little Chopper?
A small dog but round as a whopper.
He walks through the house proudly,
And struts his stuff a little wildly.

Little black dog I love in my heart.
I know one day we will have to part.
His legs are weak and growing old.
My best friend is going away I know.

He looks at me with his brown eyes,
I think of his love and almost cry.
If it's God's will to take him away.
I'll meet him in doggy heaven I pray.

You're a sweet dog and a best friend.
When your time comes my love I send.
Know I will see you in doggy heaven.
Where you can run and jump once again.
