RAINBOWS ARE FREE

RAINBOWS ARE FREE
      (And So am I)

Rainbows after a storm bring smiles to my eyes
Multi-colored rays reflect the glowing sun
Dreary storms are over: Radiant colors appear
Heavenly Father is pleased: Glorious beauty has begun!

Splendorful and spell-binding colors come alive!
Streaking upward from the earth then gracefully bowing down
"At the end of a rainbow" someone once told me
"long ago a fortune in a golden pot was found"

My conceptual rainbow is a kaleidoscope of color too!
But opposite from the pattern of the one seen here on Earth
In my mind my rainbow is turned up-side-down
Just like my world-view changed since my born-again Christian birth

This rainbow of mine that is turned up-side-down
Descends from Heaven; then sits on Earth like a cup
The glist'ning tips point straight up to Eternity
God's mercy grace and love are gifts that fill my rainbow up

When my broken lonely heart is filled with suffering and sorrow
God let's my soul know He has sorrows too
Symbolic of my up-side-down kaleidoscope of colors
Wisdom enters my cup when God tells me what to do

My cerebral/spiritual eyes show me my kaleidoscope/cup everyday
A cup filled with multi-colored blessings just for me
When dark clouds fill the skies my kaleidoscope/cup is there
Dark skies have bright stars 'cause God sat my spirit free!

My heart is filled with Jesus and it makes my spirit sing!
My love and devotion to Father God is what always motivates me
I'm His Masterpiece...and like the 'bow' in the sky...
Both of us belong to THE ALMIGHTY TRINITY!!!
