Winds blowing east turn west.
Embers from Libya burn
The waves of grain growing in our fields
While the farmers turn their eyes
Dreaming that the flames will falter.
O Great West Wind!
Ignite our flames, so we may light our torches
Not to burn, but to illuminate the great injustice in the shadow,
Let the hearth in our belly burn the red hot coals
The smoke of truth pouring from our mouths.
O Great West Wind!
Show the citizens of the world the overflowing cup of revolution
So they may drink the healing water!
