PROPOSAL

Today I proposed her in front of thousand eyes
I wanted to succeed, I made innumerable lies.

I sang for her and admired her beauty
To make her happy was my first and last duty.

I told her that because of her I couldn’t sleep
I looked in her eyes and then began to weep.

She became a little worried but was a bit confused
The plan was working and I felt amused.

Poor girls are always so easy to fool
Just act smart is the basic rule.

I took out a bottle and said I would die
I didn’t want to live and let out a sigh.

I was in love and only she could be my saviour
She was taken aback at this unexpected behaviour.

A crowd had gathered and was enjoying the show
They had never seen a guy stoop so low.

I carried the act further and rolled some tears
Crowd was interested and I heard some cheers.

I claimed the bottle had poison that I would drink
I was distraught and my life was on a brink.

This was the punch which delivered the blow
I had gained fast although my start was slow.

She became emotional and her eyes became watery
I felt I was lucky and had won a lottery.

‘’Oh Darling don’t do this ‘’ She shouted and began to cry
‘’ You are the only one whom I love, You are the only guy’’

I kissed her and took her in my arms
She had yielded and had bowed to my charms.

She looked at me, had believed every word I said
Embarrassed at this open proposal her cheeks were fiery red.

The crowd cheered and clapped, the show had been entertaining,
The weather became romantic and slowly it started raining.

I felt satisfied and was happy with my act
Had fooled a rich girl with emotional intelligence and tact.

She would be my ladder to success; she would be my key to fame
Love was my speciality; I was master of this game.

Love is an art and you should know how to fool
Play with emotions and words if you really want to rule.

This only reflects that some people are cunning and wicked to such an extent that they purposly play with emotions and feelings of others just for their personal gains. According to me this is the worst crime we can commit in our lives.)
