A poem for someone.
ADDICTIVE YOU

You invade my dreams
with your lovely smile.
Finding rest in your
warm embrace.
Never noticed I’m into
an eternal plight.

Dusk ‘til dawn I wander
Seeking my way out.
But you haunt me,
Creeping in my veins.
I dared to run away,
But your shadow follows.

How can I escape
From your phantom?
When I feel too weak
Every time you cast
Those piercing eyes
Stealing my sanity.

Felt the grueling pain
Dividing my soul.
My hands shiver
Wickedness sneak
In these vain thoughts
that slowly cease.

In the passing of hours,
My restlessness grow.
Dying to feel,
The warmth of your lips.
But I see no one,
Only mem’ries of your kiss.
