Some more of the story. |
Walking past Bexhill train station she could sense evil, she heard a high pitch scream that deafened her, the visual was hazy and she looked frantically around and there outside her work work, was a group of men, attacking the Walkers, the cocktail bar. Coming back to reality she stood up in her living room and held her hands out in front of her and in her hands a blue spark appeared, her half hearted smile, spread across her face and she left her house in her Car. After the five-minute drive she pulled up outside Walkers, there was no screaming no sense of evil. Cassandra looked at her hands and began to tremble, then at that moment from within side the bar was a scream. Cassandra shivered at the thought of this scream, then after a few seconds of debating to go in. She opened the door and stood next to her car. A few minutes later three men came out the bar, with blood dripping from their face, ‘Hey baby...guess what I’m still hungry.’ She recognised the voice and it was the same guy that attacked her earlier that evening Cassandra chuckled, she turned her head to the floor and her head snapped back to the three vampires, ‘We want you...we want your blood running through our veins.’ He answered, the three vampires started to separate around Cassandra and encircle her. Her eyes black with pure hatred. She chuckled an evil, frightening laugh, then she moved her fingers in a magically way swaying them in the air and making her fingers dance. A flame appeared and she answered, ‘who wants to go first then?’ she looked at the all the boys in a very special manners, spending only a few seconds looking at them individually. She sighed as the three vampires just watched her, she bent her knees into a predatory position, and the vampires did not attack. ‘Fine’ she blew into her hand and the fire swept across the spacing between her and one of the vampires and she slowly turned round, the fire came out of her hands like it would of if it came out of a flame thrower. As she turned round, she captured the other two vampires that were in the path of the flames, ‘He will come for you. You are the one that can raise his prodigy. That is why he came after you the first time. He wants a boy with your and his powers....’ Cassandra stopped at this revelations and she stared into the eye as the vampires fell to the floor and slowly she continued to burn the vampire. She stood watching as the body’s burned with a stench that made Cassandra’s nose twitched at and made her feel sick. She climbed back in to her car and drove a slow and painful drive home. Laying in bed she stared at the window, the sun was coming up and Cassandra was tired, she had no sleep that night she turned to look at her digital clock, six o’clock it read, ‘Bedtime.’ She flicked her finger and her blind fell gently down from the window and Cassandra closed her eyes. ‘Mummy...Mummy are you there?’ there was a sweet soft whisper and Cassandra’s eyes opened she was no longer surrounded by her own furniture but instead she was laying on leaves, twigs, she was on the ground. It was damp and cold, she looked up and saw herself surrounded by tree’s thousands of feet high. Her eyes had not adjusted to the dim foggy scenery , she squinted and looking furiously around as she continued to hear that sweet little voice, ‘Mummy...I am over here. Please save me. Mummy...’ Cassandra stood up and started to panic she ran forward, towards the voice. The branches from trees and bushes slapped her warm skin, stinging as she ran past. ‘Mummy...hurry please.’ ‘I am coming baby.’ Cassandra fell taking a mouthful of dirt as she hit the ground, she spat it out and jump on her feet, she started to mumbled ‘Over land and over sea, I want you to bring her to me. Return her to me.’ Nothing happened, frustrated Cassandra started to weep, and she began to say it over and over again, ‘Over land and over sea, I want you to bring her to me. Return her to me.’ But still nothing. ‘Mummy magic don’t work here...help me mummy.’ ‘I am coming Ava, Mummy is coming.’ She started running again, she felt herself running forever. Then she saw a little figure of a young girl with beautiful dark blonde hair, Cassandra could feel herself slowing, she was almost there and the figure faded, ‘Ava...I am here.. AVA !!!’ she screamed but the little figure had gone, ‘Ava please...’ she feel to her feet and bowed her head to the floor, and she felt a presence that she could not recognise, ‘Cassandra...’ a dark evil voice spoke, and Cassandra looked up from the floor and she saw a dark black hair man, he wore a black cape, over his body and he’s head she could not see he’s face, but she wasn’t sure she wanted to, ‘What have you done with her...bring her back to me.’ Cassandra screamed now hysterically, she was so close to seeing her daughter but he had taken it away from her. ‘Now Cassandra. You know you can be with her, but you have to send me some more souls...’Cassandra’s eyes wept and then held her stomach, ‘Yes Cassandra, you are the one who is making me my army. But it be a lot easier if you just lay back and let it happen.’ Cassandra felt her stomach pulsing, her body wanting to be sick, she shook her head. She stared at this man, beast monster, and he made her physically sick. She held on to her necklace and squeezed her eyes shut...’Praying won’t help here...’ but Cassandra fell to the floor. She awoke and gently touched her clothes they were damp and she could still smell the woodlands that she had been running through. She looked around her room and she was in the very same room that she fell asleep in. Her heart racing and she mind full of confusion and upset. She picked up a pair of jeans and a tank top, she started changing. She looked around the room, she saw a glimpse of herself in the mirror her face had no expression, no emotion, no feelings any more. She walked down the stairs with a blank, look she felt like a zombie, she wanted no food, not even a fag with her morning coffee, and she wanted nothing. She stepped into the kitchen and saw how clean and tidy it was, her eyes darted around the room in confusion and anger, she saw the meat knife that she used to use, she pulled it out of the knife rack, grabbing her car keys, she made her way to the car. Driving along the road, her face was empty, the speed she was travelling at didn’t matter to her, and it just increased at every bend, not slowing down for anything. Lying in her car parked up along Beachy Head Cassandra could hear the wind howling and bashing her car, she could hear the sea smashing against the cliffs. Cassandra felt that weather was reflecting her mood, her feelings, emotions, and most of all her heartbreak. She wrapped herself up in a huge blanket and laid a pillow behind her head. She closed her eyes and she could see the images of Ava laying there dead on the sofa. On that same sofa, she was cradling her just that morning, she could see the blood stains on the clothes on the floor being repeated in her mind. She slowly pulled out the knife out of her bag and she laid back staring at the knife she placed it against her wrist and pulled it towards. Her her skin split open in a straight line, the blood seeped through the wound. She watched with she did not flinch at the pain; no tears appeared as she watched with curiosity and regret as the blood flowed out of her body and over her clothes. Moving the knife over about an inch she did it again, and again, until her arm was completely cover in the warm red liquid, the knife drop onto the floor, she could no longer see the life in Emma’s blue eyes, just death, sadness and destruction. Standing in the living room where her daughter laid on the sofa covered in blood, Emma laid on the floor as covered in blood. Cassandra looked round the room, in a pinning circle and she was constantly being spun, which seemed forever, however the spinning stop the blood and the bodies disappeared, the room was empty, the sofa’s disappeared, all her furniture had gone. She stood desperately wanting to see her daughter again, but in that moment, Chase appeared in her living by the window. His dark eyes were alive and passionate, she stepped towards him, but hesitantly took two steps back. He grinned and instead stepped towards her, almost in one huge stride; he took her by her waist, and gently pulled her towards him. He let one of his hand falls from her waist, and it rose to gently touch her chin, he bent down and his cool lips met hers, she could feel herself quivering. Not because he was cold but with his touch, it made her feel loved, how every women should be loved. His tongue played gently with her mouth, she could feel her legs going weak at the knees, it was when he gently lifted her up, and she realised that he was fully supporting her weight. She made little moaning noises, showing her enjoyment, he gently unbutton her white shirt and slide it of her body. She returned this movement by removing his black cotton long sleeved top, showing a well-structured masculine torso, she traced her hand up and down his torso, feeling the coolness of his skin. Then Chase started nibbling her bottom lip, it felt so good, she could feel her heart racing, her blood pumping round her veins, then all of a sudden she felt a pinch on her lip, she pulled away and saw two fangs appear from his upper jaw. She awoke suddenly and looked around her, she could feel her heart beating, and she could smell the stale blood that was over her. Her breathing was slow but speeding up as she recalled the dream. ‘That is it!’ she shouted. She stared at her wrist expecting the blood to still be spilling, but as she looked down there was three, carefully, cut lines on her wrist. The skin seemed too had healed, but how she thought to herself. She took a deep breath and picked up the knife, there was no blood residue on the knife, she threw it to the back of her car, and pulled a new tank top, clean underwear and a clean pair of jeans out from her boot. She got dressed and dumped the clothes at the back of the vehicle grabbing herself her foodie that she leaves in the car in case she got cold she pulled this on over her head. She smiled to himself as she looked in the rear-view mirror as she awkwardly climbed to the front on the driver’s side, and she whispered to herself, ‘It is not my time.’ As she fix her hair and started the engine. Pulling up outside a huge beach house, she saw the silver Porsche outside, she sighed and slowly drove in. All the curtains were pulled open and she could sense movement in the property, she was shocked to how big the property was compared to her little semi-detached. She turnt the ignition, but hesitated about putting it back in and driving off. Sighing she knew what she had to do, she slammed the door shut, and walked up to the main door, there was a door bell that read, ‘No religious preaching, No sellers and certainly No ugly people.’ She chuckled to herself, and slowly pressed the doorbell her finger merely hovered over the buzzer, and then she pressed, ‘I can’t do this.’ It was dark now and then she realised she should of came earlier, they may be out or in bed she thought. She went to turn round and jump back in the car and leave but she knew they were the only ones that she could talk too. Drake opened the door and his mid length brown hair hung over his face, he was wearing track-suit bottoms and a tank top that showed his deep masculine body, ‘Oh hello...come in I suppose. I hope because I don’t want to get in trouble.’ He stepped to the side and looked around the drive making sure no one had seen, ‘great sign.’ Drake nodded in agreement, ‘well I think it is fucking hilarious, keeps unwanted guess out...not that you are...’ Cassandra followed Drake as he led her through a maze of different rooms, ‘So where is everyone.’ Cassandra asked amazed by the statues, the artwork, and then a grand piano. A white grand piano sat in the conservatory, then outside she saw three bodies sitting at the table. She noticed Rosa straight away. ‘We have a visitor....’ Drake announced as he and Cassandra entered the garden that had hedges the size of Mount Everest, well close enough Cassandra thought to herself. Jason did not turn to look and then said, ‘Dinner is served...’ ‘Jas.’ Drake said and poking him in the back, Jason turnt round and saw Cassandra standing there, ‘that was an inside joke.’ Cassandra looked and then Chase and Rosa looked round and their faces were shocked, and if possible whiter than usual. ‘I understand the joke...although I don’t think it was that funny. So I know what you are Chase and I even know that Jason is also the same as you, however I haven’t quite worked out what Rosa and Drake are.’ Drake, Jason, and Chase stood in front of Rosa, in a protective stance, drake started to shake, and Jason held on to his arm, ‘Control it...’ ‘I have not come to harm you.’ Cassandra warily said staring at Chase and his friends, ‘Are you not scared?’ Rosa asked as she gently took a step closer to the boys, ‘Me scared. Please I could blow this house to slithering if I wanted too...’she chuckled, but it did not lighten the mood. ‘Fine, I am sorry I came.’ Cassandra announced and turnt on her heels and walked towards the house. The group just stood and watched her leave, then Rosa started to talk as the tension lessened, ‘you know, she wouldn’t of hurt us...she is one of us. No family, and importantly she is powerful...and I feel what you feel, Chase.’ Chase stared into Rosa’s eye and realising what Rosa was talking about, ‘I have something to do.’ Cassandra sat in Ava’s old room, she gently picked up Ava’s baby clothes and held them up to her face, a single tear fell down her cheek and she gently fell to the floor and placed her head on her knees. It was there she wept, and it is there that Chase found her. ‘You know we can not kill the bastards that killed her whilst you’re down there.’ He announced he seemed so blunt as if he did not want to be there, he stood looking at her, with no sympathy, and ‘Do you have any leads? Because I sure don’t...’ she mumbled, she helped herself up from the floor and placed Ava’s clothes on the bed. ‘We have an idea on a creature named, Seamus, he is a vampire similar to me but feeds on human, for their blood...’ Cassandra giggled, ‘Well he made a bit of a mess here.’ She walked out of the house and stood on the drive staring up to the house, ‘you know, I always knew something would happen, every since the London attack on my family. I have always known that creatures of the night were the ones that killed my family.’ She sighed Chase took her by the waist and led her to her car, ‘I will meet you back at the house.’ He announced as he walked around the corner to his car. She watched him turn the corner and she started the engine, she reversed it out of the road and then started making her way to the house in Cooden beach, she constantly checked her mirrors, to make sure Chase was following her. She kept catching his eye as she looked she knew that she wanted him, but could not have him. Sitting in the living room, Cassandra watched as Jason sped round the room at a remarkable speed, ‘That is pretty cool...’ Cassandra began to say as she looked at Chase who was looking angry at Jason, ‘So what is special about you if you are not a vampire?’ Cassandra asked looking towards Rosa who was giggling at the stupidity of Jason. ‘Well I am a vampire however, I also have a unique gift, and I am telepathic.’ She answered as she turnt her eyes to Chase, ‘however, my powers seem not to work on you...’she questionably asked, Cassandra smiled which turned into a giggle, ‘That is because I have put a protective shield over myself. If I took the shield away you would be able too...’ Rosa eyed Cassandra in a questionable way and turned to Drake, he nodded and then answered, ‘If you want to know who I am, I am a shape-shifter.’ He answered, as he looked at his hands, which were began to faze, and then he’s hand turned hairy and claws came out of were his normal finger nails were, ‘Werewolf...’ Drake stood up and growled, ‘No a shape-shifter.’ Chase stepped forward, ‘That is enough Drake.’ Drake sat down still growling under his breath, Cassandra turnt to Rosa who began to skip around the room, looking for something, ‘Book....’ she stopped and smiled as she picked up a book from there never-ending bookshelf. ‘SO if you can form a protective shield over yourself, and keep it there permanently, could you do the same to us...’ Cassandra giggled and the suspiciously, looked up at the group, ‘Why would you need a shield, your immortal?’ Cassandra giggled looking round the room waiting for them to started chuckling with her. She stopped and looked at the serious non-joking faces that erupted around the room, ‘As vampires, we cannot go out when the sun is shining as it will kill us...’ Jason answered, sounding like he was talking to a six year old. ‘Your twenty first century vampires yet your race hasn’t evolved to become immune to ultra violet light...???’ Cassandra questioned Jason, Rosa and Chase, who were feeling a bit embarrassed in admitting there weakness, the three vampires look to the floor, and Cassandra felt guilty for insulting them. ‘So what about Garlic? Crosses? Stakes?’ Cassandra fired the questions at them in one go, she knew if she was to help them and them to help her she needs the full facts. ‘Garlic no, crosses no and stakes definitely not...’ Jason answered lighting the mood. ‘Silver bullets for you Drake?’ Cassandra asked and drake growled, ‘I am not a werewolf, I die like this guys, except for the ultraviolet light stuff.. .’ Cassandra nodded and turned to Rosa who had a grin on her face, ‘So you can help us?’ she optimistically asked, staring into Cassandra’s eyes. ‘Well there is a problem...’ she heard Jason and Rosa sighed and Chase just chuckled and mumbled, ‘Surprise surprise...not that powerful after all..’ Cassandra just eyed at him and then turnt away, ‘I can do the spell and IT will work...however there is ingredients that I will need and they are hard to come by and can be expensive.’ Cassandra noted, and then turnt to Rosa, ‘That fine we have the money and we can send Chase, Jason and Drake out to get them. Then me and you can sort out your room and clothes-‘ Chase stood frozen on the spot, ‘What? She is not staying here?’ Rosa flicked her head towards him, ‘she is going to need to be here for when out next move is...’ Cassandra turnt to Chase, ‘Fine.. I’m going to the boy’s room?’ Cassandra’s eyebrows flinched together, ‘The boy’s room...’ Drake got up and followed Jason was just standing when he answered, ‘It has boy’s toys...’ he ran out the room and caught up with Drake. ‘SO where do we start?’ Rosa asked with more enthusiasm in her voice then necessary. ‘Well. I will tell what I will be doing, as it is very dangerous, before I do anything is that okay?’ Cassandra asked being deadly serious, Rosa nodded, ‘Right I will have to summon Artemis, the roman god of Artemis who is the goddess of Moon Goddess. Hunter Goddess. Triple Goddess- Lunar Virgin, Mother of Creatures, the Huntress, or Destroyer. As well as goddess of a number of other entities. I need to do in a forest of woodland near a tree of a cupressus however, they are not found in this country in the wild so I would need to get a seedling or a twig of the tree and plant it as I am calling for her. Only she can give me the power to protect you and your family, if she rejects my notion then I will be killed...’ Rosa’s face flinched and looked at Cassandra, ‘You are joking.. Right?’ Cassandra looked deep into her eyes, and sighed, ‘I will be killed.’ Rosa shook her head, ‘No no no you are not doing this, I will tell the guys there has to be another way round this...’ Cassandra chuckled, ‘no there isn’t. ‘Then I shall chant as I light a flame and then have to put it out. Then you and your brother’s will have to join me in my protective circle, and you will have to...’ Rosa looked up and then saw the pain and nervousness in her eyes, ‘Then we have to...’ ‘You will have to drink my blood but that should be fine.’ Rosa’s face went white and she started to look around seeing if the other could hear what has been said, but Drake and Jason appeared, out the boys room, ‘We need to talk?’ Jason announced, pulling the two girls outside into the darkness, ‘Where is Chase?’ Rosa asked, Drake looked to the floor, ‘DRAKE?’ Drake sighed and turned to Rosa, ‘He has gone hunting.’ Cassandra saw Rosa’s shoulders sink, ‘Thank god...’ Jason looked at her then put his arm around her shoulders, ‘You cannot be serious?’ aiming it had Cassandra, who stood a few feet away from her new friends, ‘It is the only way.’ Jason shook his head, ‘Well if you cannot find anything else it would have to be. But we would have to keep this to our selves, until the-the...do not make me say it.’ Rosa chuckled and Jason gently kissed her cheek, ‘When are you planning to do this?’ Drake asked, as he felt uncomfortable with the couple, Cassandra walked with Drake back into the house living Jason and Rosa to it. ‘We have to do it on this Sunday, at the full moon’ Drake stopped in his tracks, ‘that is two days from now...’ Cassandra looked to the floor, ‘How do you expect us to prepare in two days...we have not had human blood in century’s we need time.’ Drake roared and then stormed in to the boy’s room. Cassandra stared at the living room not knowing what to do. Jason and Rosa walked gracefully in the room, and Cassandra stood staring at them in amazement there stroll was so in time with each other, their bodies matching, fixing together like a jigsaw. ‘Cassandra, food or drink?’ Rosa asked politely as she slowly pulled away from Jason, ‘DO you eat and drink then?’ Cassandra asked and Jason disappeared in seconds, and then returned, with his arms full of goodies, sweets, popcorn, crisps, whiskey, and most importantly, beer. ‘Of course...well we don’t need to eat but it makes us seen normal. For example nosey neighbours. What would you like?’ She looked at the food, it all looks very appetizing, ‘Crisps, dips and of course the beer.’ He handed what she fancied then open a few beers for himself and lounged on the sofa. ‘So how did you all came together coz surely you all ain’t the same age.’ Cassandra asked as she took a sip of her beer and pulled open the crisps. ‘Well we are all the same age if you’re talking in mortal years, I’m twenty two, Jason is twenty five, Drake is nineteen, and Chase is twenty six. However, we all have different age if we are talking about it in immortal years. Then we are all very different ages. I am 327 years old. Jason is 143, drake is 824 years old, and Chase is unknown. You know he has many stories and he has seen many disasters but he never has revealed to us when he was turned.’ Rosa said as she knocked her beer back in one mouthful. Cassandra smiled as she gently sipped her beer following it with a few mouthfuls of crisps and dips. There was an awkward silence then Jason stood up from the sofa, ‘I am going to do some man stuff...’ he was feeling quite uncomfortable, he bent down and gently but passionately kissed Rosa. ‘See you soon.’ Jason answered as he left the room, ‘ So...’ Cassandra began to say but she broke off in mid sentence, as she wanted to ask so many questions about their creation. Rosa got of her chair and sat closer to Cassandra. ‘Chase never had what you and Jason have then? ‘Taking another swig of her drink. ‘Chase...no. He..’ she began to say, ‘He is a type of man that don’t keep hold of relationships.. So to speak...’ she looked up at Cassandra’s face, which seemed to be disheartened by this news. ‘He sticks to his own kind, and so they are not disheartened by when he leaves. And it means he don’t break any ones heart in the process.’ Rosa continued trying to make Cassandra feel better, but sensing her heart aching and her heart race slowing down. ‘God look at the time one o’clock, I’m best get some sleep. May I use a bed...?’ Cassandra manages to choke out of her throat, but it was so quiet she wasn’t sure whether Rosa heard her. ‘Upstairs second door on the right.’ Cassandra slowly strolled out of the living room; Rosa felt her pain, not by her special ability but by what she remembers from when she was human. Cassandra realised that she had none of her own clothes in this house, no toothbrush, no fags, and no pyjamas. So she, poked her head round the door, closing her eyes to see if she could sense Rosa, but she couldn’t, so tonight for the first time in a long time she would have to sleep in her underwear, ‘That is fucking great, I am going to freeze to death.’ She mumbled to herself and then she realised that there was a old log fire, but with logs, it would not light. She smiled and then in her hand she gently started a little spark and threw it into the fireplace. She held her hands out palm facing the fire, ‘that is better’ she said to herself, and she took of her tank top and lifted over her shoulders. She felt wary about this and decided to put it back on. She slowly and buttoned her jeans, ‘Well I can sleep in this top but my jeans have to go’ she sat on the bed and slid the jeans of her bodies, she sighed at the relief it gave her. She went to the side of the bed, pulled the cover off and she climbed in. The sheets were so cool, the coolness sent shivers up her spine, but they were so soft and smelt of Passion fruit, she took a long depth breath savouring the smell, as it lingered on her body and in no time, she fell asleep. She slowly opened her eyes and she looked into two very dark exquisite eyes that were looking deep into her soul. She smiled and she ran her hand through the soft dark brown hair it felt so smooth, she could feel his hot breath over her face, her heart started to beat faster and faster as the figure moved forward and started to kiss her. His lips soft, and they slowly moved down her body, he stopped at her breast and her nipples became erect as he nibbled them. She moaned with great pleasure. He stopped and slowly took her black laced knickers of and he spread her legs and buried himself between her to thighs. She threw her head back in pure ecstasy, she moaned his name, and the figure came up to face her. Her eyes darken and the figure mumbled, ‘Cassandra I want you, and I want to take you...’ ‘Oh Chase...take me at your will..’ she answered he slid inside her...’ |
