Vampire's Eternal Life

I remember the bite that put me in this eternity; she was the one I loved. Her hair smelled of lavender and honeysuckle. It was a golden brown waterfall that cascaded to her shoulders. She had asked me to hang out that Halloween night in the graveyard. Being a gothic kid myself I thought nothing of it. I put on my best black jeans with chains hanging off of the pockets and a black tee and headed out the door. She was waiting for me leaning on my black 2011 corvette. We hopped in and drove off our only companion were the moon and stars. We sat in the graveyard and listened to the wolves howl pointlessly at the moon. She suddenly started getting closer and hugging against me. I could feel her warm breathe against my cold neck. She started to kiss my neck and I thought she was trying to tell me she loved me until I felt a sharp sting. It was as though she had stuck two large needles into my neck. When she backed up I saw she had fangs dripping with my blood. I asked her what was she doing and she replied “bringing you into a new life” It suddenly hit me her never going to school, always hanging out at nighttime she was a vampire and now so was I. I simply lied down on top of the grave looked at the moon and laughed. She had given me eternal life, I was sitting there thinking was it a gift or curse though. She told me she was hungry and it was time to get a snack. We both snuck into a drive in movie, as we were I asked her “these things still exist?” she laughed and nodded saying “only teenagers who hope to get lucky come here though.” We hopped silently into the back of a convertible that had the roof down and watched the couple as the guy pretended to yawn and wrapped his arm around the girl. “Such a freaking cliché” I said in disgust. I suddenly smiled wickedly realizing this guy I was about to feed off of was the captain of the football team. I hated that guy, so I silently nodded to her and we both sucked the life out of the teens. We snuck out and laughed the whole time. When we got out I realized I had just killed someone and I was excited. The adrenaline flowed through my veins like a river. “Is this what my eternal life will be like?” I asked her, she simply nodded. I realized to most this is a curse but for me it was a gift. We started to kiss right behind the car that we had just brutally ended the life of two teenagers who probably had dreams. We snuck off laughing and decided to have some fun. She had taught me how to turn invisible and move faster than light. Unfortunately the sun was going to rise soon so we snuck to the graveyard to her house. We went underground and just hung out. We knew the sun was about to come up so we both got into a coffin. We slept the day away and had our fun at night. We went to the mall to hunt mostly because due to our little incident the drive in movie theatre had closed. We decided tonight to play cat and mouse with our prey two peppy little cheerleaders who wouldn’t know and apple from an orange. We were waiting for them to not notice us but they both saw us and got so scared they ran into a tree branch. We both laughed our head off and got our fill.
