Someday

Someday,
I'm going to leave the city,
Look up to see the stars and night,
And smile,

Someday,
People will covet what I write,
My words will mean something,
Be more than meaningless scribbles on paper,

Someday,
I'll be an inventor,
of something particularly ridiculous,
That only I could find useful,

Someday,
People will find me funny,
Or intriguing,
Maybe even interesting enough to talk to,


Someday,
I'm going to name a plant,
I'm not sure what,
I just want to know I'm important to someone other than me,

Someday,
I won't be alone,
Probably wont last though,
Nothing ever does.

Someday,
I'll think of a better way to end my writing,
Something interesting,
maybe even funny.
