The Old Man

People see a mysterious old man whom they've never seen before drowning in a river. No one bothers to help him, they just keep looking. His piercing scream for help makes one woman fall to her knees and start to cry hysterically does any one help then? No. Does anyone call the police? No. They just keep looking and listening. Some people look away and some plug there ears. Then after 4 more minutes of his piercing screams it goes very quiet and when the people open there eyes the only thing that remains of this once living entity is the waves in the water from where he drowned and after those disappear everyone forgets that old man like he never even existed.
