Derelict

I'm losing. Losing my pride, my joy, my heart. There's nothing for me to hold on to when need to keep going. The road I walk seems incessant. No one can allay the pain, even if they took the time to try. Nowhere. No one. Nothing. Where did you go? Did you know what you were doing when you disappeared? The memory of you drifting away won't fade. I can still feel you breathing, I can still feel your heart beating. But where are you? I'm falling apart. My sanity is failing me. I have nowhere to go when everything turns grey. Alone and unwilling to fight, I finally give you up.
