The Lost Boy

The Lost Boy
Still searching to that which I will find
The lost boy that resides in me and my mind

Fearful for which many stones have been cast
The reaching backwards and forwards taking my breath away as if it was my last

Comforting the child that screams
only to realize those screams are coming out of me

The world has damaged my soul from one heart beat to the next
so resist I shall not but, fight on I shall for the clock has already been set

So the search continues on for my spirit that eludes me evermore
growing frustration at every turn and every door

For many doors occupy this space some old and some new
I know I have lost keys to many of them so i will have to make due

Will I find what I am looking for inside of me?


God give me strength... .,.We shall see.
