Prayers for Love

Dear God please help us,

I'm not just praying for me,

See this curse that is upon me,

Is also affecting my family.



The One I love with all my heart,

He needs your help too.

My bestest friend in the world,

Is also feeling blue.



I know I hurt my Mum and Dad,

Because I cannot say,

What's truly turned me,

What's really in my way.



Please take away this evil,

For I can no longer bare,

To be filled and consumed

And my heart not really there.



I want to be a better person,

I've told you this before.

But please look beyond me,

I know you have I'm sure.



I'm not that important,

Of this I have been told,

But I'm important to the one's I love

And I need to grow old.



To grow old happily

With the people I adore,

To know longer be so devious,

To persuade others to score.



Let me be stronger

For the friends that need me now,

So they may have the strength,

To tell someone else their tale.



So they may one day save

Another who has become it's slave,

So one friend helps another friend,

Until this nightmare can come to an end.
