More of a blog than anything...felt the need to share some lost feelings.
We seek things that are never truly there, fantasize about the things we wish to grasp, and morn over thin air that lies in the void that we believe to be filled by those fantasies which linger in our mind. I never truly believed in love at first sight, nor did I ever think that this is love. Silly, right? That young love can be formed in an instant, yet shattered in a moment's breath.

I have only met this person once, for one week. And in that one week he managed to take my breath away. Maybe it was the way his face lit up when he began talking about his animals, or the way he kept poking at me because I smiled too much. never once did it cross his mind that it was because he was around, drawing my attention. This is a tragedy in its own way because it can never truly be. This is my vain fantasy, I love a boy that lives 2,000 miles away from me.

It wasn't supposed to happen, I didn't think it could happen, but yet there's this pit in my stomach and an ache in my heart that says it's true. Dear Texas, why are you so far away from me?

How long until it's gone? Hopefully faster than it took to be planted there. But I don't think this one is going away. A lost soul.
