The Best Friend

There was a friend of mine,

who's behave was so fine.

His face was full of shine;

He was a friend of mine.



But something went wrong with him,

he thought that he was brilliant ;

And I was dim.



So he made some friends,

with different thoughts;

Seeking for highest total in notes.



Though I wasn't having the highest totals,

so, they were nearer and I was throttled.

But I have complaint against him not,

for he is the best still I thought.



And I could not force him against his will,

for he is free to do what he feels.



A friends success now I know,

is more important than his friendship though.
