It's sad, unfair but real. The September 11 brought grief and anger as well as fear.
Three thousand four hundred and Ninety seven deaths
Three thousand four hundred and Ninety seven souls
Three thousand four hundred and Ninety seven lives being cut short
A million loved ones left for mourning
A million loved ones who wish it were them
A million loved ones dying inside
Nineteen hijackers that lost their lives
All for a man they desired to be
All for a man who laughed when it was over
It only took a selfish and greedy man
With revenge blurring his sight
Clouding his judgements
As he killed without remorse
The country went into sorrow and grief
For what?
A laugh?
A game?
A simple idea which transformed into assassination?
It was a suicide mission
The Americans died for the country they loved
The Terrorists died a revengeful death
Well what about the two hundred and sixty-six unsuspecting passengers aboard the four planes?
Their deaths were uncared for
They were merely plain useful at that time
Where did it leave the rest of the world?
A shock wave of paranoia and terror
Whose next in this heinous crime?
Will our brothers or sisters be next?
The Nine-Eleven was only the beginning
Osama Bin Laden’s death was merely the middle
What about the end?
When will the world be able to sleep in piece?
Only time will tell.
