Thank You

This is a poem I wrote about my boyfriend for all the things he's helped me through.

You caught me as I fell,
and soothed away all my fears.
You saved me from my hell,
and wiped away all my tears.
You saw the pain in my face,
and eradicated the sorrow.
You saw my past’s disgrace,
and gave me hope for tomorrow.
You wrapped your arms around me
when my eyes would fill with tears.
Your love and kindness surrounded me
through all those trying years.
Through all the times I needed you,
you were never far.
I remember all the kisses you blew
to each and every scar.
You raised me from the shadows,
and helped me see the light.
You stayed with me through all the battles
to help me win this fight.
