Love can come so many forms. This is a poem on painful and unbearable love.
I know, it kinda emo. I'm not suicidal, don't worry. I just thought that it would be a good topic to write about. Anyway, strange isn't it? I basically wrote in this poem that I more afraid to tell 'you' I loved 'you' than to jump off a cliff. Wow.

For those who have had unrequited love before in their lives, you can relate to this because don't you just feel like you want to die sometimes when you know that the one you love doesn't feel the same way? I mean it in the way that you FEEL like you could die, but obviously most wouldn't actually go suicidal or anything.

Not Afraid Anymore

I can't take this anymore,
Living my life like a lie.
It hurts so much, this denial,
I just want to die.

You walk by me every day,
Oblivious to me hurting,
It exhausts me to hide my love,
I'm on the verge of collapsing.

After all those months of hardship,
I admit that I'm a mess.
I will never regret loving you.
Though I just couldn't confess.

But now you're far away from me,
It's like I'm invisible.
I'm heartsick, I can't let you go,
It's just not possible.

This pain, this pain is killing me,
I can't take it anymore.
I want to find another world,
Somewhere new to explore.

A place without pain,
Full of peace and sweetness.
Where everyone is happy,
Where there's no loneliness.

I want to go there right now,
I know you won't follow me.
No one will, they're afraid,
I'm not, but I'll wait for you.

You're wonderful, kind and sweet.
The nicest boy I ever met.
So smart, so handsome,
Your lips just as sweet, I bet.

In this world, we're just friends,
That fact badly hurts me.
One day, we'll meet in that place,
Then we can both be free.

I snap out of my thoughts,
Looking down into the abyss below.
For once, I'm not afraid,
That much I know.

I smell the sea below me,
The wind blows in my face.
The sun sets in the horizon,
And darkness I embrace.

Goodbye, my sweet boy,
The best thing in my life was you.
Hopefully the next time we meet,
Our love story can come true.
