OH, MY LORD

Oh, my Lord,
through the ribbon of the skies
I see only You.
For You only do I wish.
In passing strangers I look
again and again for You.

My Holy Lord Jesus,
the only Son of my Father.
Through century upon generations,
You walk, still.
No time exists for thee Lord;
for your words "I am with you always"
reassure and comfort me.

I am only a servant,
born for Thy will only,
for my purpose in this life
is thy design; soulful in
my missteps, I beg for
your mercy, and for thine
intersession with the Father,
that His compassion may grant forgiveness.

Oh Lord, may Your hand steady me.
May Your love feed and inspire me.
May the Holy Spirit,
and Your Precious Sacred Heart
fill me to the depths of my soul.
may it nourish and draw me
only to You, Dear Lord.
May I only seek to be a vessel
for all You may wish of me.

I rejoice as I draw near.
In this silence, through words and
prayers from my heart,
all praise and glory from my being
is to The Father, and to The Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
Is now, and ever shall be,
World without end ~ Amen
