In the shadow of death

I guess this is poetry. I didn' t really follow any rules. Just wrote what I felt.

It has been a long time
Since I thought of you,
Buried in memories
You are nothing
I can’t stand you
I don’t need you
I don’t want you

Because of you my future is none
Because of you I walk alone
Because of you I never belong
Because of you I am tired of me

Ever you beckon to your door
A sea of shadows
I have grown to hate
Darkness everywhere, I cannot break

Not much longer - I do not even care
Please go away, Leave me now
Ever and ever
My only chance is without you

My only hope is to remember
My only desire is to forget
Never again will you hold
Never again will you tease
Never again will you scare

Empty promises - whispers of nothing
Please close your door
It has been a long time
Since I thought of you
