A Missing Piece

Theres a hole in my chest
where my heart should be
because someone ripped it out
and left me to bleed

I lay on the ground
in the pouring rain
and i try to mask
the unbearable pain

i cannot love
i cannot hate
at this point
ive accepted my fate

I look up in the sky
and i close my eyes
and i start to feel cold
as my broken body dies
