Edge

He was born,Edgar Leland Parish,in 1845 Texas.His parents were immegrants from somewhere in europe,nobody knows where.When edgar turned five,his family was joined by the birth of a sister, Yvette Marie.Life in East Texas was hard,but they survived and even prospered.In the winter of1857 an outbreak of cholera claimed their mother.Their father,followed in the spring.A family friend promised to take them in and care for them.When civil war broke out in the states,Sixteen year old Edgar was eager to run off and join the cause.
