I've been thinking about having this poem on my headstone...
Another sky blue Sunday,
And I drift to a happier place.
Back home with my daughter,
And her beautiful face.

For a while,
I'm warmed by the sun.
I lose track of time,
And all that's been done.

With eye's closed,
my mind happily flies.
I'm as free as a bird,
With no earthly ties.

The hurt, the pain,
The loss don't exist.
I'm bought back to life...
But I try to resist.

But it's gone...
Peace has gone,
Darkness returns,
Where light had wonderfully shone.

Real life hits hard,
And with all of it's might.
How long must I live,
With this unequal fight?

Why, should I...
Lose my life with my daughter?
Simple lies,
Have ruined all that I taught her.

A Father has NO rights,
Not anymore.
However good
He's still shown the door.

I want to see my daughter;
I need to...see her.
Why must I sit back,
Just to help her deciever?

Without her,
My life's a bereavement.
A constant aching,
Without any treatment.

Why are Mothers chosen,
...ahead of the Dad?
We aren't always,

The one's who're bad.

My daughter's my life,
Equally and without any doubt
It's unfair because I'm a Dad,
I HAVE to miss out.
