We were five and,
you gave me a feather
i smiled at you then;
Said id keep it forever.

And then we grew up,
her hand in yours cold,
with mine in my pocket,
a feather to hold.

And then you were mine,
a summer so sweet,
i showed you my feather,
Said do you remember?

And then you broke my heart,
i whispered goodbye that day,
i held my feather on my palm,
and let it blow away.
