About a girl who dreams of a hyena boy and finds out it was real life.
Alex twirled around in smoke wondering where she was. Her dark long curly hair wrapped around her head. She suddenly stopped in a small forest in the afternoon sun. It was warm so she took off her sweater and brushed down her skirt. She turned around and was standing 5 feet away from a teenage boy who resembled a hyena and a human put together. She squinted her eyes to see if that was truly a being standing there. She then said after a few minutes gazing,

"Hello?"

He looked at her like she was dumb. He said unbeilevable,

"Really? You're really going to act like that?"

Her face turned beet red not thinking the teenager knew english. He smirked a crooked smile and walk a couple of steps to her. She actually got a good look at him and saw he was quite beautiful. He was muscular through his fur and his fur was dark and softly spotted by black dots. His fur looked soft and she felt an awkward sense to touch him. He said with a yawn,

"Well I guess I'll start the introductions seeing we're the only ones here. My name is Airis Azreal. And you are.....?"

She shook from her trance and said quickly,

"Laela Kilayox"

He looked at her with surprise thinking she wouldn't have such a fantasy name. He smiled and she asked,

"Where am I? I'm so confused. You've seen how I showed up........"

He smiled loving the way her confusion showed all over her face. She then said,

"....and what are you suppose to be a fox or something."

Airis was offended by that. He walked away, his tail bristled and he yelled over his shoulder,

"I'm not a fox, you dumb girl. I'm a fucking hyena."

He was pissed and it showed in an aura around him. She ran after him and said,

"I'm sorry, Please you can't leave me out here. I beg you!"

He stopped abruptly making her crash into him and falling back. The afternoon sunlight shined through the trees casting an orangy glittery light on the pendant her mother gave her before she died. She looked at it with amazement and held it up to examine it further. Airis nearly choked on his own saliva and he said with awe,

"That's the pendant of Forsaken Souls. Where did you get that?! Did you steal it!?"

Anger really started to rise from him as he started to accuse her even more. He unshealthed his sword and pointed it at her. The blade shined as the pendant did. She looked back on what her mother mumbled when she gave it to her.

"Laela, My darling. This pendant will one day show you the path at which you take with a young boy your age with the sword that shines just like the pendant. Take good care of it. It will save you from that's evil......"

She died from there on and left her word bewitching Laela. Laela snapped back to reality and said softly,

"My mother gave me this necklace and she forespoke of this time."

He squinted at her and remembered the leader of his clan telling him the same thing. He nodded and apologized with a head nod and went to sit under a tree far away. Laela sat there confused out of her mind and shook her hair. It was no use trying to explain what had happened to her and trying was only giving her a head ache. She layed on the grass and looked up at Airis and said,

"At least be accommodating and sit next to me."

He smirked and flashed his way over to her. She blinked hard and knew she saw what she just saw. He disappeared and re-disappered.

He laughed sitting next to her and said,

"Yeah, of course I'm going to have powers. I'm not just a hyena boy. I'm hyena boy with powers, baby."

He smiled crookedly and started calling her goo-goo names. She blushed each time. He layed down next to her and said as a matter-of-fact,

"You know what would make this alittle nicer?"

Airis got up and disappeared and reappeared with a blanket. He smiled wickedly and picked her up with his tail. She helded on his back and he layed down the blanket. He placed her softly back and layed down next to her. She smiled and said,

"Not bad, Hyena boy."

She giggled and smiled. Airis hair blew softly in the wind just like it have Laela. Both their gifts glittering in the sunlight. He made a bold move and kissed her softly. He backed away and for the first time blushed. She looked shocked but loved the way his lips felt on hers. She felt butterflies in her stomach and as he turned back to her he smiled and said,

"Until next time my love....but now you must....wake up..." Airis turned to smoke and everything around her turned to smoke and started to melt. She awoken in the library while reading a book callled "Fantasy World." She closed it quickly and looked up. A boy who looked just like Airis stared at her from a distant book shelf. She smiled at him and mouthed the words "Airis". He smiled and showed half of his body as the Hyena boy she knew. The dream was only the world she was destined to be in but now it was his turn to dream.
