His brothers bow their heads in respect,
His widow wife morns with such sorrow.
His children's pain is like no other.
As they see his body put next to his mother.
He is one of many who have fought in war.
He is one of many who fought for our freedom.
His life is lost, but his soul forever found,
Rising with others to a place far above the ground.
So this digger no one knew is now more then that,
He had grown to be a hero to all those around.
His brothers now serve for this great land,
Now fighting with the others they can lend a hand.
So on this ANZAC remember the digger who,
Went out to risk his life for our freedom we have today.
Remember everyone out at war or has fought and died.
Remember how all those families felt and how their hearts cried.
