My Life as The Daughter of Severus Snape

I give all  the credit for the characters used in the Harry Potter series to J.K. Rowling. I also give her credit for the setting.

Chapter One – The Discovery

         I walk downstairs and find my mum in the kitchen making pancakes. This is weird because she only makes pancakes on special occasions. So I ask her if someone died. “No sweetie, I have something I need to tell you.” She says. “Honey this may come as a shock, but I’m not your real mother.” That made my jaw hit the floor, “What do you mean?” I ask her. She replies with “Leecia, you’re a witch.”
         After I calmed down she explains to me that I am the only daughter of Severus Snape. My “mum” also told me that I had been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
         I can’t believe that I, Leecia Snape am a witch. I feel so different, no I feel powerful knowing that I have magical powers within my body and soul.  Later on that night my acceptance letter from Hogwarts arrives in the mail. I dream of what awaits inside the parchment envelope.


  Dear Miss Snape,
           
We are pleased to inform you that you have been chosen to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We await your owl no later than July 31st. The term begins September 1. You will board the Hogwarts Express on September 1st on platform 9 and ¾ at 11 o’clock am. We hope to see you this term.

Listed below are supplies you will need for this school year.

Uniform:
The quantity given is the suggested minimum requirements.

1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One winter cloak (black with silver fastenings)
4. Three white shirts for boys or blouses for girls
5. Two grey sweaters, vests or cardigans
6. Two charmable ties in house colours
7. One charmable winter scarf in house colours
8. Two pairs of trousers or shorts for boys, or skirts for girls
9. Three pairs of white knee socks or black wool stockings for girls, or grey knee socks or black ankle socks for boys.

Please note that all pupils’ clothes should carry name tags.
