A pleading for love
Why is it hard for you to see?
I need you, not a memory
In order to live again
Instead of just give in

You are the thing that my heart needs,
But now that you are gone, it bleeds
Cold blood, longing to feel your touch.
I need you oh so much.

I need to hear you say once more,
“I Love You,” the words I adore
For if I don’t, then tell me why
My life is worth a try?

Your love is all that keeps me alive.
Without you, I cannot survive.
So please don’t leave me here this way.
Please, my love, please stay.
