Dressed for battle
My sword by my side
I am known to all
As His Warrior Bride

Donned with my armor
I am ready to fight
For Him and His Kingdom
His truth and what's right

The Belt of Truth
Buckled 'round my waist
Being girded with might
First weapon is placed

The Breastplate of Righteousness
Adorning my chest
Forces of evil
No match for this "vest"

My feet are shod
This preparation is for
The gospel of peace
That I stand before

The Shield of Faith
Against the enemy's "dart"
Giving satan no hold
To this Warrior's heart

The Helmet of Salvation
Protects thoughts in my mind
Embracing what's right
What's wrong left behind

The Sword of The Spirit
His Word is the power
The enemy's hold
It will surely devour

With my armor in place
All weapons applied
I'm honored to be known
As His Warrior Bride
