A child’s mind is tender and innocent

Small things affect them at that moment
Major things linger into adulthood

Take a minute and think about who you are
Is this the person that you want to be

Life is just different scenes played by different characters
Over and over again, everyone has a story to tell

Press stop and rewind

Re-play the bad events in your mind
Watch the things that was buried with pain

Unlock the door that they was closed in
Let the demons free that was hindering me

Embrace the pain, fear and guilt
Then close that door for good, it is now over

Stop and fast forward back to life
Be the person you want to be

Because to get where you’re going
