'My Life to Live'

Is this the life I'm meant to live?

Is this all I've got to give....

These are questions

I ask myself?

And the one who wrote

This saga that’s called

‘My Life’


Sometimes I’m sure

.....Sometimes I’m not


But surely as I live and breathe

I always wonder and I do wonder

Am I the ‘me’ I’m meant to be?

Or was I created for more to see…

Oceans to cross

Mountains to climb

Not of paper and work

Daily and drudge

But of places and people


Purpose and destiny

…. Purpose and destiny


These are the words that reverberate

And so as I strive to not perseverate,

I’ll keep going to that secret place

To seek and search, to see His face

That I may know which way to take

Finally this thirst to slake



And at the end

….. And at the end


I will triumphant entry gain….
