i wrote this poem to send my plea to people of this world..

THE CHANGE

One day, God brought me to a place,
a place where realization lays;
I asked Him why I was there,
He said, “Just watch my dear”.

I saw a wonderful beauty before me
the dancing lovely flowers brought me glee,
peace and joy was what I could only see
“Go, experience the place” said He.

Gentle breeze kisses every creature it passes by,
then I saw bountiful of trees greeting me with smile,
I even witnessed a herd of hippos in a race,
they were all in a jocund haste.

Shining- it’s shining everywhere,
as river is to mirror,
and forest is to horror;
indeed, it’s a place you couldn’t ask for more.

The place traveled with years,
suddenly it became filled of fears,
suddenly, its beauty disappears,
and I witnessed His tears.

I asked for the reason why He cried,
He didn’t answered but gazed,
He gazed at His villains
cutting and destroying His creations.

Poor lives begged for pity,
but humans were nasty
they devastated Father’s work greedily,
He could do nothing but to whine silently.

When I turned back, I cried,
I cried because I was one of the reasons why the place died,
I killed it unconsciously,
and now, it’s just taking its revenge abruptly.

Nature got angry
mountains became oceans,
rivers became mud,
where were the things it once had?

I couldn’t hear anything but people’s lamentations,
their deeds are coming back- self -destruction,
wan we still do something?
will this existence turn out to nothing?

Later, I started to move and pay His hurts
I’ll fix my damages- a dead cert;
join me with this amendment,
we need not to let this be a lifelong torment.

Start to clean the dusky river,
plant new beginnings on bald mountains
join protection program on the ocean
guard  the dying cluster of species.

Start to put things right,
my fellow beings, do it with might,
don’t dawdle before it’s too late
change is a thing only we can make.
