Awestruck Contemplation

In the midst of my vision your face I saw
No faults on you found I, no flaws
Your features reflected the perfection of our God
Who shaped you and made you who you are

Ecstasy overcame my soul
A feeling totally out of control
It dug deep into my core
Urging me forward to achieve my goal

My static body did not react as fast
My heart’s desires did not affect that
My mind’s dictations were not to pass
My face’s complexion was all that could act

What I lacked wasn’t imagination
Scenes of us were rapidly under construction
Nothing could I work out to help my situation
Standing still stood I in awestruck contemplation
