They're the best this year |
The Wild Plum Trees The wild plum trees are so very full this year. They’re better than I’ve ever seen, my dear. The white blossoms are all over the place. They’re so pretty and bring a smile to my face. The view out the windows is breathtaking. There’s a dozen trees that I’m not forsaking. The blossoms only last a couple of weeks. You better hurry if you want some peeks. By the time they’re through it’ll be April. Be here before then, and you can get your fill. The wild plum trees are beautiful and fine. March is the month for them to bud and shine. They were almost full on my tour today. There’s a lot of work still, no time to play. I had to take some pictures for you to see. Every branch is a show for you and me. The fruit is ripe for the summertime show. I’ve never tried to consume any though. They are very tart to the taste you see; I’ll have to see if there’s a recipe. Remember to stop this month and find worth. The show starts early, this month of my birth. It continues through the end of November. The wild plum trees are bare by December. LeBuert Mar. 2011 You can visit my gardens at the link below: https://sites.google.com/site/lebuertslayover/home |
