We didn't meet like lovers do for the first time

there was no rain and no birds singing in rhyme

But the instant we met,we hit it off like nothing ever before

the chats we had the coffee and lunch,was anything but bore

I told her I loved her one day

she said she loved me back in gay

we didn't love each other to get hooked

but that is the impression they got,the people who looked

Never felt the need to explain to anyone

and we kept calling each other 'hon'

Our love for each other is as true as love could be

At defining companionship we excelled,didn't we?

wish we'd met a long time back

but God has set a different track
