Hero of war

He lay there lifeless, dead deep to heart but sure alive to the world,

What he did was a message, a message of love,

A message he was so eager to send, and nothing they did would stop him,

Fear did he not? Though he knew well,

His life would last no longer than his battle had begun,

But did this stop him?  It could try,

But he knew that he was sending love to the land,

He would fight till he could fight no more,

Knowing to give up,

On his head it would be,

And he may die with sorrow and shame,

He cared for everyone but his own,

Worthless he was to himself,

But the every body of his surrounding,

could not wish to live with out him,

For he may no longer be with us,

But his spirit and heart lives on,

He gave up his life for others,

Not caring about what he may become,

He knew he was needed,

So backed down did he not?

He was loved by us all, and forever shall be!
