Dress Knows what suits her dresses well for work and social occasions, but her preference is casual. Does not

Thinks things will work out eventually. Although passionate about abuse either physcially or mentally especially to children and animals.
Has unique ability to have someone come round to her way of thinking, thou really unaware of this.
Her mother told her words will only affect you if you let them. She developed the abilty to hide her hurt when *words* affected her. Hides her true self well. Very family orientated.
Hated the constant moving around as a child, found it hard to make friends then only to have to say goodbye.
Dreamed of being a regular kid. Was granted her wish when at fourteen she transformed herself into a rock chic overnight, she became rebellious and argumentative, her parents believed it to the influence of the german teenagers she was hanging out with. When it was a carefully thought out plan to get shipped stateside to be look after by her grandparents.
Her mother reacted the way she knew she would and took her home, enrolled her in highschool, stayed long enough to see it was a wise decision, her daughter quickly became the Marnie of old, her mother also bought their first family home.
Within a year her father took a desk job and their transient lifestyle ended.
Her brother was the only one who worked out her deviousness.
Death of her Grandparents in her late twenties
Her brother's loss of mobility caused by a car wreck.
The sudden end to her marriage.

Marnie stays true to her character, but events almost kill her soul. Small miracles along the way keep bringing her back from the brink of wanting to end her life or having no desire to live. She lives with a flicker of hope, but mainly despair.
She is loved dearly by her second husband, who will do anything to try and return her to the woman she was. He has hope enough for both of them, although at times he is despairing.
