Bio for Beginner Judith

My name is Judith and I have written poetry all my life (64 years).  I have a file cabinet full and have shared my personal writings with family members and friends.  I was born in the western mountains of the Great State of Maine in 1946.  I still have a love affair with my home state and visit frequently to see my two grown daughters, my five brothers and their families and my high school girlfriends.  If I could build a cabin and live there, I would.  I moved to Arizona when I was 24 and I presently live in the City of Peoria with my husband.  We live on the outskirts of the city and have a beautiful view of Saguaro cactus and the wonderful southwest desert.  My son and his wife and three children live one hour north of me in Prescott, Arizona - hence, the main reason why I don't live in a cabin in the woods of Maine.



I have been blessed to be retired since 1999, after nearly 30 years working for the State of Arizona at the Department of Public Safety as an executive secretary.  My hobbies are sewing, writing, genealogy and caring for my two female ShihTzus, Abby and Maya.  I love to cook, go for walks, travel and help others whenever I can.  Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of introducing myself.
