Who controls kings


The female
in mind, spirit and being
is the lord's creation
of man's temptation
in their absence we reign as kings
royal blood which bears no sins
gifted with contamination
by the hand of a divine sensation

Love
a lethal blessing
sent to thin the herd of a crowded heaven
sent to kill which shall not die
sent to succeed in which we shall not try
sent to drowned the eyes of which shall not cry
sent to seize the truth from which shall not lie
and sent to deny reason from which shall ask why

Die
in its absence once arrived
for it becomes the very reason we strive
the very reason we desire to survive being alive

Fight
for an unseen cause
blinded by the shadow of our flaws
free to obey all her laws
but rebel and die at the gentle stroke of her harmless claws

Pain
the weapon of her choice
mastered by the language of her voice
dare to step before weakness
but the moment she walks away, nights become sleepless

echo, echo, echo the voice of guilt where it lives
and you pray that your enemy has the power to forgive
