Love : a folly, fad or fantasy

                                    LOVE :  A  FOLLY, FAD, OR FANTASY ??

When  people fall in  love, it was  not the force  of  gravity,
But  the  magnetic force  of the opposite  poles,
Which  attracts  each  other,
And  as  the cupid  strikes  the  arrow  aimed  at you,
Causing  severe malfunction  of  the  heart,
Weakening of  the  nervous  system,
Causing eyes  to moisten  with tears,
Soaring  of  the blood pressure, breath and  the pulse
You  may  trip  and  fall ; difficult  to  stand
You  nurse  your  sore  injuries ; which  may tingle with pain
You  may  realize  then, it  was  the  wisdom  of the fool
And  the  folly  of  the  wise.
Love,  is  it  a  peculiar  notion ??
A  fad,  a  craze  of  the  young  generation ??
A  fallacy of  reasoning  of  an  erring human ??
The  faltering  steps  of fallible mortal  ??
The  colour of which blanches with  time ,
With  immature  brains  it  rather does  decline,
an  incredible  jargon of implausible words,
An  optical illusion  of  wild  promises,
A  fantastic  imagination  of fertile mind,
A  weaving  of  fanciful long  fairy  tales,
A  mirage, a  fantasy,  a  reverie of  thoughts,
That  arises  from  the hearts  of  dales,
A  shadow  cast by the moon  in  umbra,
It crumbles  when  you wake  up  from  slumber.
It is  a  smoke which  fumes and  sighs,
Of  two  weird  souls  that  ultimately  dies.
