Assignment #1 -- An ode I wrote... My ode to the rain.
Ode to the Rain

Pitter patter on the roof,
softly falling.
Every drop in whispered
voices, calling.

A means to convey
the love of the sky.
Reaching out to earth,
with no wings to fly.

Emotions flowing,
pouring into land;
connecting the two
with a million strands.

Crystal blue, like teardrops
grieving a loss;
celebrating new life
we come across.

Sharing laughs and smiles—
tears of joy brimming.
Hurtful memories—
bitter tears streaming.

Each drop tells a tale,
a pale reflection
mirroring the world's
triumphs... afflictions.

Washing away the past,
healing the pain,
here I write from the heart—
"Ode to the Rain".
