Preface

We only kill to survive.
We will not kill more than we need to survive.
We will not make known contact.
We will be kept secret.
We cannot tell the world about us.
We cannot fall in love.
We cannot fall away from the Law.
The Law is our protection.
The Law exists to maintain our survival.
This is our Creed.
We must adhere to the Creed to survive.
If we do not adhere to the Creed, we shall be terminated.

The Creed is our way of life. The Council created the Law. The Law is neither non-negotiable nor can it ever be changed or re-written. This is what we were told. This is what we wholeheartedly and unquestionably believed.
